Newlands Forest
Join us for our first event of the year where we bring together the Holocene and ClimateHack CT community in Newlands Forest to hear from Jonathan, founder of PayFast- one of South Africa’s most successful fintech businesses- and an entrepreneur with deep expertise in technology, payments, and retail. His journey of building, scaling, and exiting PayFast and his subsequent pivot into climate tech investing and interest in the energy startup space is a story that will inspire climate tech innovators, entrepreneurs, and investors alike.
We'll start with learnings from Jonathan, followed by a 3km walk through the woods to connect and reflect, then reconvene for further discussion, 30 second pitches and drinks amongst our climate community.
